Created in 2007 by Jean-Christophe KERDELHUE, NW ENERGY group develops projects of renewable energies and energy efficiency while fitting durably in a participative, respectful approach of the environment, and privileges territorial partnerships.
« So far, NW ENERGY obtained approximately more than 100 MW of photovoltaic building permits and wind licenses. »
Global warming has harmful impacts on the climate, the ecosystems and health.
The reduction of the risks related to global warming requires efforts of reduction emission of greenhouse gases. In regard to this aim, an international agreement on climate change was signed during the COP 21, setting a limitation of global temperature rise below 2 °C by 2100.
The law of August 17th, 2015 relating to the energy transition for the green growth fixes the share of the nuclear power in electricity at 50% in 2025 (it is currently of 75%).
Group NW ENERGY falls under this dynamic by developing projects which enable energy conservation.
By way of example, the annual electrical production of the wind farm project on the municipality of Grand' River in Martinique corresponds to the average yearly consumption of 10,000 inhabitants. That represents 10 000 tons of fuel saved a year and 28 000 tons of CO2 emissions avoided a year.
NW ENERGY has the appropriate technical skills, financial and human experience for the development, the construction and the exploitation of energy projects.
Concerned with the energetic challenges that we are facing, NW ENERGY integrates storage, a future-facing technology which will allow intermittent energies to accelerate their penetration by smoothing the electrical production.
These competences were developed and put in exploitation by NW ENERGY in the Non-Interconnected Zones (NIZ).
In partnership with EDF PEI and EREN RE, NW ENERGY work on its 14 MW wind farm Grand Rivière, Martinique.
The launch is planned for the last quarter of 2018.
NW ENERGY obtained the Saint Bris Solaire Services, in Charente Maritime, with a capacity of 5 MWc at the CRE’s last tender.
In partnership with EDF PEI and EREN RE, NW ENERGY has won more than 12 MWc at the last CRE ZNI tenders.
The winning projects are located in Guadeloupe, Martinique, Reunion island, Guyana and Corsica.
